Corrosion Inhibitor ECHOKOR
Via the medium air, ultrasound can only be insonificated into a solid test object with a large loss of sensitivity. Therefore, coupling via air is only used in special cases at low frequencies. For sensitive ultrasonic testing in the MHz range, the sound is always insonificated into the test object with a liquid (water, oil or gel) as coupling agent.
